Heppy, I've questioned our hatchery on this in the past because certain specie crosses produce different percentage sex, etc.. I'm told in the case with striper and wb it's advantageous to use the higher egg count from striper. There should (scientifically) be no difference in genetic size regardless on Morone. Palmeto, sunshine bass are 2 of the crosses.
