Turned my feeder back off today after doing a test throw. Been feeding the last few days. Lots of activity so I gave them a good feeding but supposed to get freezing cold for a day or two. So it will stay shut off for a day or two.

Then I will turn it back on for the week (warming trend) then that will be the end of feeding for the season. I will not be around to monitor activity so will just shut it down. It is usually around this time of year anyway.

Still surprised to see a few CC sheepishly feeding. I never see the big ones like I did a few weeks ago. But the foot long ones are still getting a few pellets.
