Although less than 50 miles from areas flooded by Imelda we are still waiting for some serious rain. In the past few days Imelda has probably dropped a half inch at our ranch. The biggest benefit has been for the grass and forest, both were suffering from a prolonged hot dry spell. The ground is not saturated so no runoff to the pond yet.

Imelda may still dump something on us tonight. Fingers crossed.
