Also FYI on a weekend project to improve water runoff.
we dug a "trench" so to speak on a down hill section that should catch 3-4 acres of runoff, and hopefully make it down the pond. I rented a laser level, and dropped it gradually for 300' or so. now it probably wont rain until February....but it's better late than never.
