Just wanted to add a quick note in here for others that might be researching this.
We've been running 10 hours a night this summer. If my meter is right, the gast is using ~ .43kwh. So really rough numbers, it's costing me $8-9/month to run. The pond looks great, my algae blooms haven't been as much of an issue this year, and the fish are stronger than ever. Maybe too strong - a couple got away on us the other day. never did find a good, decent priced DO meter - that would have been some interesting numbers.
