I have this small pond about 25 feet across on the back edge of my property. The fella who farms the ground said one of the previous owners heard it was good for deer hunting to have a watering hole. So the owner had a pond dug. I agree in principle, but there is a year round flowing creek that runs thru the property about 25 yards from the watering hole. I think I will repurpose it as a FHM forage pond for my main BOW. Trim back and kill the willow and clean out the bottom of trash. Put in some pallets and hopefully the love fest will begin.
