http://www.siltstop.com/p.php?go=pinfo&PID=333-aps_800_series_pond_logVideo - https://video.search.yahoo.com/search/video;_ylt=Awr9Fq2lHeNc9GEAAHtXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTEzZ2M5aGc1BGNvbG8DZ3ExBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDREZENl8xBHNlYwNwaXZz?p=alum+to+clear+muddy+water&fr2=piv-web&fr=yfp-t#action=view&id=140&vid=ac8f37842da0deb3099ba150555d1072 Anyone used these? I have a 9.5 acre pond with 4' of average depth. 7 years old and still suspended clays with visibility from 6" - 12". Comparing pricing versus purchasing liquid alum and spraying myself. I like the simplicity of the logs placed above each of my 4 diffuser stations. They quoted me $84 per log (not including shipping) and said I would need 38 of them - 1 per acre foot of water. Almost $4K...steep!
