Ok just read some reviews and herons will figure out it's a decoy sooner or later. Will try fishing line. That may be so, but after a month on the pond, having been visited at least weekly previously, I havent seen the first wading bird on my pond. I move it almost daily so they dont get used to it being in the same place.
.10 surface acre pond, 10.5 foot deep. SW LA. The epitome of a mutt pond. BG, LMB, GSF, RES, BH, Warmouth, Longear Sunfish, Gambusia,Mud Minnows, Crappie, and now shiners!!...I subscribe!!
