Wife and I were thinking of going to the hatchery this weekend just for something to do. I haven't been since the 90's back when a buddy and I were fishing lake Same Rayburn and caught the lake record lmb. 13.68 pounds at the time. Lone star lunker program picked her up and they let us come to Athens to visit her while she tried to spawn there. They later brought her back to us on Sam Rayburn and we took her back out and released her back into the 16ft. water we caught her!! It looks like a lot more to do there now than back then.
