I used to be butt deep in snakes of all kinds, notably rattlers, but no longer. When the pigs moved in, snakes disappeared. I'd rather have the snakes.
Pigs eat snakes. That's probably why they showed up to begin with.
I saw a 2 foot king snake (dark brown with gold rings about every 3 inches the length of it's body) yesterday and thought about removing it, but king snakes eat moccasins and copperheads so I may let it stay. However, they eat frogs too, and I'm seeing several bullfrogs lately, so I have a bit of a conundrum going.
