Had grandkids at the farm for the last two days. Caught a lot of YP on Sunday, and lots of HBG on Monday. No change in anything, time of day, bait, depth, etc..
Also saw the tadpoles come to life. No YP ribbons yet. We have green slime algae on the bottom and in the weeds that grew up last summer during the drought. Not liking that too much. Also when netting some tadpoles for my granddaughter I did catch one glass shrimp. Hopefully they will multiply in the weeds, moss, and leaves that are just beneath the surface, almost all the way around the pond.

9 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep.
RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (going away), SMB, and HSB (only one seen in 5 yrs) Restocked HSB (2020) Have seen one of these.
I think that's about all I should put in my little pond.
