The pond was down 4.5 feet most of last summer. So there’s a lot of weeds that were along the bank, that are now under water. We are in the teens again today and tonight, plus 3” of snow on top today. With the exception of GS, I don’t think my fish population is that high. I didn’t try ice fishing again. My pellet stove was down, so I spent the day tearing it apart. Finally tracked it down to a bad auger motor. On order.. Plus, I wasn’t sure about the ice this time. It seemed solid, but there’s nobody around to help me if it won’t hold 250 lbs..
