Thanks! Any insight on the chain pickerel? I know they are native to the Piedmont and Coastal area of North Carolina. There are some northern pike in the mountain area where I am, but I would think they are way too big and would eat all the trout and yellow perch, since that is the body-shape they prefer. You could consider tiger musky. They are more heat tolerant than NP, plus they don't reproduce in a pond.
