I saw them up to 3 at a time during deer season. With all the disease problems in deer, I guess they help keep the herd thinner which should help. No problems in my area yet, but its getting closer. Some have blamed the deer farms since they move deer long distances and have concentrated populations. My 5 GS dogs howl up a storm when they hear the coyotes howling. And when released, head for them like a pack of wolves.
