Saugeye handle low D.O. unlike sauger. Walleye pure strain handle low D.O. better than many species but saugeye handle the warmer temps better. I know they'll maintain in mid to upper 80's without issue. Jeff, this appears to be one advantage from above. Better fit for specific conditions.
