Goose Gumbo is a great way to get rid of the geese. People who say they don't like to eat goose and or duck have not eaten it in a Cajun Gumbo. I could tell you a story about all that. Short story, 5 gals of the Gumbo was gone by daybreak.
I'll have to give that a try when hunting is legal!
As for today, my buddy & I had slow fishing. Cloudy, windy, cold water, not much of a bite. In two hours we caught nine LMB, eight culled (under 14") and one 3 lber we released. I had two other good bass on but hook pulled out.
ALso noticed several TP floating near the surface, clearly in trouble. Surprised that they made it this long considering it's been pretty cold.
