Flame, Normal for E. Texas? What's that? Seems to me that for the past 4 years every Fall has been different when it comes to rain amounts. Last year I was in a drought from June to Dec. And did not get measurable rain till Dec last year. Others here across E. Texas, I remember they were good to go during that same time period. This year, the pond has stayed full for the most of the fall. I would put our spring rains much the same, scattered amounts from here to there. I will never forget the first time I went to the PBC in Feb(I'm pretty sure it was in Feb that year.) near Ray Hubbard lake. It started raining on my way back and it seemed to rain most everyday till June. Heck one day I got 9". Crazy arse weather.
This rain event I got around 5" at the house in S. Shreveport and not sure how much at the pond (25+- miles west of me). Been to cold and wet to venture out. Home fire place has kept me in
