She said that once they realized the pattern that was occurring, they contacted the Texas folks, and others, to see if maybe they were doing something wrong etc., but the other program/s were experiencing the same results. I didn't think to ask if they had any data on electrofishing, but I will next time I speak to her. (The fish I am referring to were all caught by rod and reel originally, but I'm not sure of the method of re-capture.)

Younger fish, like younger humans, bounce back from stressful events better than older fish. On the surface (no pun intended) this makes sense. Wonder if any of the pros here has heard this?

And does this apply to fish caught by electroshock as well as rod & reel?
