I fed a small amount of pellets this evening and checked the surface temp after the 4" of snow we had yesterday. Surprisingly the surface temp was 52 degrees and the fish fed well. I did catch two nice RES on soft plastic baits while the fish fed, one 9-1/2" female and one 9-3/4" male.
