Similar story here, Mike. My BOW is supposed to be max 24 - 25 feet deep at full pool, but Justin Stane mapped it out to be around 18 - 19 feet. Even correcting a couple of feet for summer drought, that's several feet less than estimated.
Good thing about it....the smaller it gets, the easier it is to take care of!!
I'm wondering how much a quarter acre foot of water reduction affects carrying capacity. Can't be by too much with aeration (when I get put in) and feeding.
