They seem to handle the E Texas high temps, or at least I don't find them floating after catch and release. I have been saying No to any fisher person for the past 30 days, other than a young girl who fished off the pier for bg but wound up catching two lmb and 6 hsb. I was totally surprised not to find any floaters after that. Guessing the fish were hand lined due to the rod being too small to handle the fish so they were brought in forcefully with little fight or excess stress. Who Knows why they survived, I had two lmb die after catch and release 30 days ago.
