82 F is perfect for LMB and BG etc. Fast changes in water temp at any level can be a problem. Fish eating a high % of pellets as their diet are a little more susceptible to fast water temp change problems (at the margin). Not a big problem and not necessarily all pellet types. Natural food (fish , plankton , ect) insure the right lipid balance which is key to fish handling fast temp changes. Could you please explain regarding lipid balance and handling temp changes?
