I went with 3/8 because it came with the system I bought as the default size. This was before I found PBF. I wish I had gone with the 5/8. The larger tubing provides less back pressure to the compressor. That means lower loads on the compressor so higher efficiency (less $$s electricity) and potentially increased pump life.
