Don, Texas has all different types of golf courses in all different types of terrain and in different climates in March or April. "it depends" in what part of the state u wind up in. I was a 6 a few years back and now today I am afraid to even swing a club. I miss the game! If you ever get around E. Texas look into Crown Colony @ Lufkin. Old PGA course I think, you will need a long game
