Gammarus lacustris might be a good choice for Quebec. There is a supplier in Minnesota that provides them at a reasonable price. He only collects and sells them around January. He says thru the ice is the only time they can be collected in large quantity. I tried some here in Illinois but I think the water was too warm for them. I'm curious how much he sells them for?? I've got millions of scuds!
