Need some help. I have a natural spring on the rear of my acre lot. It is a mud bog and over grown with brush/poison ivy. I want to make a small ornamental pond over the spring by digging it out. I also want to use the water to operate a sprinkler system. I do not know the best way to go about this. Where do I begin. Do i channel the spring and allow area around spring to dry before I dig the hole for the pond? Do I need to put linner in spring. Whats the best way to pump and filter water for sprinklers? I sure could use some good advise. Thanks! cstuczynski@southbendnc.com
