What other, if any, forage fish species did you stock for the trout? As Cody noted above, oxygen is needed from sunlight penetration, so clear ice, or flooding the surface after icing over can help with ice clarity and snow melting...just use a trash pump to flood the surface with pond water.
After Oxygen/sunlight, the trout will need food....
