I would like to add some more diversity to the food chain in my 3/4 acre pond. I just stocked it this spring and it is 18" from being full pool. I have FHM and GSH and papershell crayfish so far and also a ton of bullfrogs. both species of minnows have spawned successfully and not sure about crayfish because I never see them with all the structure , but stocked 75 last fall and 400 this july. I thought I had some spotfin shiners I could get but the guy said he didn't have any spawn show up in his minnow traps last week. I am located in west central ohio 5 minutes from Indiana line. I have YP, RES, HBG , HSB and SMB coming at end of October. smb will be 3-7".
anybody know where I could get spotfins or something else to add to the food chain. something within a two hour drive or so?
thanks
.75 acre pond dug in September 2016. YP, HBG, HSB, SMB, and RES.
