Yes but that would be feeding when the outside temperature is even hotter.

I am trying to decide how much to feed in the hot summer months. Am I in the zone or do I need to make some changes?

Judging by their light color it looks like they could be stressed but you couldn't tell by the way they clean up feed.


I'd avoid middle of the day in the Texas summer. Hottest water, and brightest sun.

I go with morning feed at 8:45 to 9am, when light levels are still not maximized but O2 levels have come back from early morning lows. Evening feed 7:30 to 7:45pm. Of course, these are summer settings and will change when it cools a bit.
