When you put down structure such as cedars, remember Bob Lusk's admonition: Put them to convenience your fishing, not just the fish.

So if you fish from shore, make sure they are within casting distance and that the geometry favors the fisherman. It's much easier to drag a lure, or a fish, up the cedar than down!
