My lake has a ton of buttonbush growing along the waterline. This makes fishing impossible so I would like to clear some (have already started cutting it down) in our fishing are and keep it down. Looked it up and the web says Habitat is excellent for killing this while tearing roots out is tough due the ability to regrow from any remaining roots.
My question is has anyone used habitat on plant life around the pond/lake and had any issues? Sounds like I will need a surfactant, but I won't be spraying on the water it will be on the emergent growth from the stumps.
