My water is a dark brown this morning. I cannot see any of the SMB beds. No idea if they were used for spawning or not. Not even sure when SMB spawn.
I did catch one this morning. (The long nose pliers are 7")


I've got a fair number of GSH. I'm hoping the SMB and HSB can control them. When they get this big though, I'm not sure the SMB can eat them.


9 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep.
RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (going away), SMB, and HSB (only one seen in 5 yrs) Restocked HSB (2020) Have seen one of these.
I think that's about all I should put in my little pond.
