the old depends answer... Ha I joke. Thanks for the input. The long of the short is the pond was dug about 8 years ago and I fought a leak that dropped it to about half its size and depth very very quickly so most of its life it was low. I have that slowed to 3/8 inch a day so it has been "full" for a year. I started the Aeration earlier this spring and have very green water that was I believe FA, (pictures are on the controlling plants pages.) So I would like to flush it as it comes in that is why I started aerating during this event. I wont have much dirt coming in. I will keep it going and watch it. I am hoping for some clearing just because I think it is all FA that is getting a strong hold. Thanks again Dave
