I started up my aeration system with a 30 min run yesterday and will bump it up to an hour today. Six Kasco diffusers in this 3.4 acre to 3 acre pond. Last year, I ran it 24-7 and in August the water temp was at or around 90 degrees , so now I am thinking I may just run the system at night only during the hot time of the year. I also added another brush pile along the ponds edge. Hoping to improve on lmb fingerling survival and improve the survival of cnbg fry. I have a lot of cnbg in the 4 to 10" size and have caught and released an 11" cnbg.
