Perch have been laying eggs everywhere. Caught this one on accident when fishing for CNBG. Landed a second YP after this one that was clearly a gravid female, so I stopped fishing as dusk was approaching and I got the feeling the perch were laying strands.
Oddly enough same outing landed this trout. One that the LMB haven't dined on yet!
