I really like the clear water. Angling is not easy but snorkeling/diving/shooting underwater video is better for the clarity of the water. Oh and I'm sure the bass enjoy the clarity - from a feeding perspective. LOL
Just remember the clearer the water the less food there is for YOY fish. Which will mean less recruitment of the forage fish in the pond. With very clear water ponds, to keep a fish population growing you will have to rely more heavily on feeding the fish, like an aquarium.
