Ha, here's all I can catch in my minnow trap. I know I have millions of FHM, because when I throw out feed, the FHM come out to feed like crazy. Can't get them to get in the trap though. I even left these in for a week, to see if a crawdad would enter. Nope.. Just tadpoles. (Only one died, I thought they needed to come to the surface to breathe. The trap is submerged)
9 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep. RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (going away), SMB, and HSB (only one seen in 5 yrs) Restocked HSB (2020) Have seen one of these. I think that's about all I should put in my little pond. Otter attack in 2023
