Bill, that would make sense as they really liked to hang out at the inflow of the pond when water was running.
Snakebite, I would have never guessed. I really want to catch at least one to get a good measurement, looking through water can be deceiving. I know the RES are in the 4-6" range which is what I am basing it on as they swim together. With that said, proof is in the pudding, so I really need to catch one.
