Thanks for the reply. As I mentioned in my post to Potsy, I have an older pond, with 50+ years of sedimentation that is in need of removal. Could this sedimentation be part of the problem, or in general, could it be adversely affecting the water quality of my pond, even with a heavy duty aerator in operation ? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
