Went back up and checked the pond this morning. It's down about 3.5" in eight days. I get thrown off where the bank is more gradual. Seems like a bigger drop. That's a little less than a half inch per day. I didn't find any wet spits, but it started raining while I was looking. Looks like I'm still in the wait and see mode.
9 yr old pond, 1 ac, 15' deep. RES, YP, GS, FHM (no longer), HBG (going away), SMB, and HSB (only one seen in 5 yrs) Restocked HSB (2020) Have seen one of these. I think that's about all I should put in my little pond. Otter attack in 2023
