We lost this cutting of hay. Its so tall/heavy....its laying over and by the time it drys out(whenever that happens) it will be sour and too tough.
Tbar, we're still in that same boat. Our hay laid over several weeks ago, and no mowing, fertilizing, weed spraying, gopher dragging, cutting/bailing, nothing. I have a feeling there'll be a bunch of cheap bad hay produced with the first cutting this year.
I had to cut another trench this morning just to help drain the hay meadows.
