Pondmeisters,
I have just finished a 35 x 80 (foot sand beach using many of the ideas found here on the forum, (12 ft. geotextile underlayment, 12 inch basin, ect...) However, I did not find anything definitive on proper beach slope. I Googled around and found very little on the subject. What I found suggested no less than a 14 to 1 slope, which sounded reasonable and is the slope I went with. Now that the sand is in, I am somewhat concerned that the slope may not be steep enough. What is the general opinion on proper beach slope? With some amount of work I could change the slope and will if needed.
Thanks,
DeermanJ
