Just an update, after dad's charger crawled under his truck tire shocked

I did get him a new one as I wanted to be sure he had one by Easter weekend, but considering they don't give those things away, and I believe that just about anything can be repaired (within reason), I decided to gut the old one, try to straighten it out and see if it would still work.

So only having to replace the ammeter, and using a few select tools, objects and a rubber mallet, I straightened it out, put it back together and it's good as new working just fine wink.

Mission accomplished!
