Using a single length of 1" to 1 1/4" poly tubing, buried 24" would make it easier to push through electric cable whenever you decide to.
I think I forgot to tell you that when I visited your pond, the best secchi reading I got was only 3.5", with the average being 2".
I hate to admit this. I have no idea what a secchi reading is. Should I add something now? Or is the secchi reading the clarity reading? It actually seems a bit more clear. From zero (previous) to a few inches. I was skimming out some floating gunk and scooped out a bunch of tadpoles. Ha. I assume that's a "ok" thing for the pond? Pretty late hatch, but the pond isn't very old.
