I've never tried it, but has anybody tried a Uni Bit to drill holes in tires? Lube with Dawn Dish Soap cut with water in a spray bottle? They work VERY well in thin material where a regular drill bit will catch and grab. http://www.irwin.com/tools/drill-bits/high-speed-steel-fractional-self-starting
