Flooring in main living space is finished. - Because of the reddish hue in the maple flooring that covers the main living space and the kitchen area, we are going to stain the casing and trim at the windows and doors a deep red stain. This same finish will go into the baseboard trim and the passageway doors. We completed one door with this stain finish and it really pops. - Inside the BR's and the baths, we are using a more traditional stain; red oak. This is the pocket door between master BR and bath:
