Walleye seem to be quite curious-I've seen them come by several times on the edge of a "boil" of feeding SMB in my pond. Interestingly, their presence seems to make the SMB feed even more vigorously, almost as if they view the WE as competition, although the WE are not taking pellets. I thought I was imaging this at first, but it's happened several times this fall. Wonder if the same thing is happening with your HBG?
