For my 2c I'd like to say that I once wanted a larger pond, but now that I know how much work it takes to manage it to get the results I want, I'm very happy with my 2.2 surface acres. I'd rather have 2.2 acres that I can use selective harvest by rod and reel to meet my goals than 10 acres of stunted LMB. I'd much rather have less overall biomass with higher quality average fish. Sometimes less really is more.
