My well produces 1/2 GPM and I use a 2,500 gallon tank to assure that I have water. I feel lucky to have it. It was the 3rd hole drilled and, overall, the total cost was a little over $10K.
No way you can impress a pond with less than 10 GPM.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
