Reed canary grass? Disclaimer: This grass is extremely aggressive on moist sites. Some States consider it a noxious weed. Check with your State University or Extension Service, etc.
I like this plant in extreme western Nebraska for wet sites. It is aggressive, stabilizes steep slopes and is very resistant to water erosion. It is great cover for wildlife but has a very minimum wildlife food value.
